The technical lifespan of the fabric is approximately 25-30 years.
The PMH Hall can be insulated to great effect. See Climathall.
The fabric does not provide any significant protection against break-ins. If you do not have a fenced-in area, we recommend a Combihall with sheet metal cladding on the sides.
The long side cannot be opened as the frame comes down here. This is possible on the gable end. See Protecthall.
The roof should not be accessed without appropriate safety equipment that is securely anchored. If in doubt, seek professional assistance. Contact our installation/service department by phone at 0411-13800.
Maintenance is minimal on a PMH Hall. The fabric tensioning technology with tensioning screws means that retensioning is rarely necessary. However, after a storm, you should check that the wind braces are still tensioned.
- If you are located within a detailed planning area, a building permit is required. We can assist you with drawings and other documentation required for the building permit application. - You can find certified inspectors in your area on the Boverket website.
There is a risk of condensation in all cold storage facilities, so we recommend that the warehouse be dehumidified when storing moisture-sensitive materials. See Dry Air Storage.
We install the insulation on the inside! With the insulation on the inside of the frames, it is better protected and retains its insulating function. Insulation placed on the outside can be compressed by snow loads and lose its insulating capacity. Ours does not. Our insulation on the inside will not be destroyed if an accident occurs and you get a hole or tear in the fabric. If the insulation is placed in the outer fabric, water (entering through the damaged fabric) will get into the insulation and significantly reduce its insulating capacity. Ours does not.
Installation is always included and is carried out by professional, trained installers.
Normally, an asphalt surface is what we need to anchor the storage hall. It can also work on a well-compacted gravel surface. We would be happy to visit you to inspect the conditions.
PMH-Hallen can be purchased, leased, and certain sizes can be rented. Read more about it here.
Standard widths (cantilevered) for the PMH Hall are 8, 10, 12, 15, 18, 20, 24, 26, 30, 36, and 40 m. Other widths are available upon request. The PMH Hall is constructed in 4-meter sections lengthwise.
The PMH Hall is dimensioned according to European Construction Standards (ECS) and the Swedish National Board of Housing, Building and Planning's regulations. The input values are the snow and wind loads determined for each municipality.
The frame of the PMH Hall is CE marked and manufactured in accordance with EN-1090-2 by certified workshops.
There is no price list as PMH-Hallen is customized and there are many options to choose from. We calculate each individual item.
Minor tears can be repaired with special glue. Larger tears can be repaired by heat welding the fabric together. We offer professional assistance if required. Contact our installation/service department on +46 (0)411-13800.
Avoid using strong chemicals when cleaning. High-pressure washing with warm water is usually sufficient.
