Privacy Policy
Introduction
In light of the General Data Protection Regulation, also known as GDPR, PMH International AB/PMH-Hallen ("we") has developed the following privacy policy. GDPR applies as law within EU member states and aims to strengthen the protection of individuals' personal data.
The General Data Protection Regulation contains provisions on the processing of personal data. It also contains rules on your rights to information and access to personal data. It also sets out your options for requesting rectification and, in certain cases, restricting the processing of personal data.
It is our policy to take all necessary measures to ensure that the processing of personal data in our operations complies with the provisions of the law. In addition, the processing of personal data is intended to be carried out in a correct and transparent manner.
What is personal data?
Personal data is any information that can be directly or indirectly linked to a living individual, such as name, address, email address, and telephone number.
When does the processing of personal data take place?
We process personal data in connection with:
- Quotations and price inquiries
- Completed sale
- Previous customer contacts
- Trade fairs and events
- Supplier relationships
- Expressions of interest in our products or services
- Contact via email, telephone, or website
- Recruitment and job applications
Some collection of personal data will occur, for example, in connection with credit checks and the creation of new customer/prospect records.
The processing is carried out in accordance with applicable legislation, which means that personal data shall not be stored for longer than is necessary for the purpose and objective. We will process your personal data for as long as you have a relationship with us, in other words, for as long as we perform deliveries, service, installation, receive payments, and also during the warranty period or due to specific legal requirements. The data will be deleted when it is no longer necessary or relevant for the purposes for which it was collected. Certain information may be retained for longer if required by law, for example, the Accounting Act.
Legal basis, storage, and deletion of personal data
In order to process personal data in a lawful manner, there must be a legal basis for such processing. As a legal basis for the processing, we will refer to the performance of a contract and also to a so-called balancing of interests with regard to a legitimate interest. If we use legitimate interest as a basis, it will be done in the situations presented above. We have also concluded, through a balancing of interests, that the personal data being processed is in our legitimate interest and therefore does not require your explicit consent.
We store your personal data for as long as it is deemed necessary to achieve the purpose and objectives for which the data was collected.
Transfer of personal data
We may need to share your personal data with other parties. If we share this information with a third party, that party is responsible for ensuring that the information is processed correctly and securely. We may also need to disclose your personal data to third parties in order to comply with legal requirements under legislation and applicable regulations.
We may share your personal data:
- When purchasing and selling the goods and services offered by the company. Certain personal data will need to be shared, as it serves an identification function between the customer and the seller. This may occur, for example, in situations such as shipping, warranty, assembly, registration, and similar matters.
- With parties that provide server services, Office 365, and similar services. Data processing agreements will be entered into with such parties where appropriate.
- In cases where we are required by law to disclose certain information to authorities. For example, by disclosing information to the Swedish Tax Agency.
Your rights and choices
- Right to access your data
You can request a copy, known as a register extract, of your personal data and verify the information we hold about you. You can do this once per calendar year.
- Right to have personal data corrected
You have the right to correct inaccurate or incomplete information about yourself.
- Right to be deleted ("right to be forgotten")
You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data in cases where the information is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. However, there may be other legal obligations that prevent us from immediately complying with such a request. These obligations may arise from, for example, accounting and tax legislation. In such cases, we block the data that we are required to store from being used for purposes other than to fulfill such legal obligations.
We will, on our own initiative or at the customer's request, correct any information that is found to be incorrect. You can also request that your information be deleted or that its use be restricted by contacting us. If you believe that your rights and personal data are not being handled correctly, please feel free to contact us or you can contact the Swedish Data Protection Authority (IMY).
The request must be made in writing and signed by the applicant. It must include the applicant's first and last name, telephone number, customer number (if applicable), personal identification number (if applicable), and any specific information that you require. This is to ensure that the person requesting the information is the person to whom the information relates.
The request shall be sent by registered mail to:
