A journey through PMH's successful history and important milestones.
In 1929, Carl Persson & Söner AB was founded, a family business that would soon grow rapidly. Over time, it changed its name to Persöner AB and became a significant industrial group. During its most expansive years, the company employed over 1,100 people and played an important role in the region's business community.

A new direction in the Group's development, as a specialized business took shape as a separate company.
In 1974, Persöner Materialhantering (PMH) was formed as a separate company after the lifting and material handling department was recognized as having great potential. The decision to separate the business was based on the belief that the area had good opportunities for further development.
PMH took over both the logo and the telephone number that previously belonged to Persöner, which still today shows a clear connection to the parent company and its history.

A major structural change was implemented through a strategic merger.
In 1978, a restructuring was proposed whereby Svenska Säck AB and Ceres Industri AB would merge with PMH. The proposal was implemented, resulting in a new group structure that still forms the basis for PMH's operations today.
The merger broadened the company's offering to two main business areas: lifting and material handling, and warehouses and industrial buildings under the PMH-Hallen brand.

Focus on high-quality solutions.
An expansive phase began when the product range was broadened and several international partnerships were established. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, agency agreements were signed with suppliers around the world, strengthening the company's position in the market.
These included KITO, Dalmec, and Haacon—partnerships that are still active today.

A new phase in the company's development as part of the global technology and industrial group.
A new chapter in the company's history began with a change of ownership. In 2022, PMH was acquired by Indutrade AB, an international technology and industrial group listed on Nasdaq OMX. Despite the change of ownership, PMH has retained its operational structure and continues to be divided into two business areas: lifting and material handling, and industrial and warehouse buildings.
