Our machine halls

Storage tent with metal sides

Machine hall sheet metal

Sheet metal machine halls with fabric roofs are an excellent solution for protecting machines and equipment. The strong sheet metal structure provides a robust and durable construction that can withstand harsh weather conditions and protects against corrosion.

The fabric roof provides natural light and reduces energy costs while creating a bright and pleasant working environment. The combination of sheet metal and fabric roof provides a cost-effective and practical solution for machine storage and workspace.

Tent halls are excellent as machine halls for several reasons. Their flexibility makes it possible to adapt them to specific needs and requirements. With the option of having both closed and open sides, they can offer protection from weather conditions while allowing easy access and movement of machines.

Tent halls are a cost-effective alternative to other buildings and can be quickly erected and adapted as needed, making them a practical and versatile solution for machine storage.

Dimensioning

Width & length

We offer machine sheds in various sizes and configurations to suit your machine storage needs. Our machine halls are available in several standard widths, including 8, 10, 12, 15, 18, 20, 24, 26, 30, 36, and 40 meters. If you need a wider machine hall than our standard options, please contact us, and we will find a solution that suits you.

There are no restrictions on the length of the machine hall, and it can be customized in multiples of 4 meters to suit your specific requirements and preferences.

Height

Since the machine hall has an arched design, the height varies naturally, with the highest point in the middle and a lower height at the sides. The determining height is the clear height at the side of the truss. At PMH-Hallen, we adapt the height to your specific needs and requirements.

Machine hall doors

Folding door

A folding door is the optimal door solution for machine halls with its robust and well-insulated design that guarantees reliability and durability, while making it easy to move machines in and out.

We offer Sweden's best-selling folding door, developed and manufactured in Sweden by Prido, with a generous 7-year warranty.

Sliding doors

Sliding door

We offer custom-made overhead doors that can be adapted to your specific needs and the layout of your machine hall, regardless of whether you prefer automatic or manual control.

Our overhead doors are particularly sought after due to their space-saving capabilities. When opened, the door slides smoothly up under the ceiling, freeing up valuable space both inside and around the machine hall.

We are with you from design to finished hall

Design & construction

Our machine halls are tailored to your specific conditions, needs, and requirements. The design department at PMH-Hallen works to develop, calculate, and produce drawings in accordance with current standards and regulations. This includes complete construction documents for the entire process, from design to installation.

Finished hall

PMH-Hallen is there for you even after your machine hall has been installed. We offer service agreements and make service visits to carry out repairs in the event of accidents or to perform preventive maintenance. If you need to extend, shorten, or move your machine hall in the future, we can also take care of this.

Building permit for storage tent

Machine hall building permit

Machinery hall - farm building

A machine hall designed for use in agriculture or forestry is also referred to as an agricultural building.

According to the Planning and Building Act (PBL), a building permit application is not normally required to erect a farm building, provided that it is built in an area not covered by a detailed plan. To avoid the need for a building permit application, the machine hall must be adapted to the specific industry. If the main purpose of the machine hall is to store agricultural machinery, for example, a building permit is not usually required.

Machine hall in a detailed planning area

If a machine hall is erected within a detailed planning area, a building permit is required. There are temporary and permanent building permits. We provide free assistance with the necessary documentation in the form of drawings, certificates, and inspection plans. Once the building permit has been granted, we offer consultation prior to technical consultation and inspection prior to the final decision.

Insulated machine hall

Insulated machine hall

Two types of insulation

We offer two standard designs, one of which includes insulation. For a sheet metal machine hall, we offer insulation similar to that used in conventional buildings. If it is a machine hall with fabric, it is insulated with inner fabric.

How much does a machine hall cost?

The price of a machine hall can vary considerably depending on several factors. Below, we explain what affects the price of a machine hall.

Type of machine hall

The materials used and the quantity thereof affect the price of a machine hall. A combination of sheet metal and fabric has a higher initial cost than a machine hall made entirely of fabric.

Size

The size of the machine hall ultimately affects the price, as a larger machine hall requires more material to build.

Assembly

We always give a fixed price for the assembly of a machine hall. This price includes the costs of labor, time, equipment, and transport.

Optional

The price of a machine hall is also affected by the number of options and the type of options selected. Options are extra features or customizations that can make the machine hall more useful or convenient for specific purposes.

Here are some examples of how different types of options can affect the price:

  • Insulation
  • Gates/doors
  • Windows
  • Lighting
  • Other adjustments.
