Climate hall

The Climathallen is a simple insulated tent hall.

Climathall is an effective solution for a space that needs to be heated while also saving energy. The hall is insulated using a simple method, which means that it can be assembled quickly and efficiently. Climathall is based on the Lagerhallen with walls and roof made of plastic-coated polyester fabric or the Combihallen with steel sheet walls. The interior of the hall is then covered with an insulated inner fabric that is attached to the steel frame. The insulation is made of 100 mm polyethylene as standard.

The polyethylene insulation ensures a long service life and maintains its insulating properties even in damp environments. Estimated U-value 0.4W/m2C. The insulation thickness can be changed if a different U-value is desired. Climathall is equipped as standard with insulated folding doors, which are available in various sizes. If you would like a different type of door, such as a motorized door, we can arrange that too. Tailor-made solutions are our specialty. Are your products temperature sensitive?

There may be various occasions when goods need to be stored in a temperature-controlled space. This could be heavy homogeneous materials, such as metals, which need to be kept at a certain temperature while awaiting production. In such cases, Climathall is the optimal choice as a temperature-controlled buffer zone. Climathall is also perfect as a picking warehouse, where finished products are stored in a heated space. The climate inside the hall remains comfortable, even when it is cold outside.  

Climathall is produced from standard components, which allows for a wide variety of widths, lengths, and heights. The tent hall's construction has self-supporting frames that provide a column-free surface with a span of up to 40 meters and any length.  

Why choose a PMH-Climathall?

We install the insulation on the inside! With the insulation on the inside of the frames, it is better protected and retains its insulating function. Insulation placed on the outside can be compressed by snow loads and lose its insulating capacity. This does not happen with PMH-Climathall.Insulation placed on the inside is not adversely affected if an accident occurs with a hole or tear in the fabric. If the insulation is placed in the outer fabric, water will enter the insulation and significantly reduce its insulating capacity. This is prevented with our solution, where the insulation is placed and protected on the inside.          

Interior surface layer

The interior of the climate hall is lined with a flame-retardant, heavy-duty PVC fabric. To achieve a bright and attractive interior, it comes in white as standard. Despite the insulated inner fabric, it is possible to attach fittings to the hall's steel frame, such as cable ladders, heating units, etc.

Heating / Ventilation

Insulated storage tents are supplied with electrically powered aerotempers as standard. These are placed approximately 3 meters up on the walls of the hall with a directed air flow. For an even heat flow, these are placed according to an optimized pattern. Depending on the size of the hall, a number of these aerotempers are equipped with mixing cabinets that take in fresh air.

Lighting

Our storage tents come with white roofs as standard, which makes it bright inside the hall during the day. During the darker hours of the day, external lighting is needed. We use IP23 industrial luminaires, which are designed for installation in industries with higher ceiling heights. We supply both conventional fluorescent luminaires and LED luminaires for the desired light output. These are mounted and connected on steel cables attached to the trusses in the ceiling so that they do not prevent the full storage height from being utilized. The luminaires are placed in longitudinal rows with a center-to-center distance of 4 meters. The number of rows is determined based on the desired lux level. The lighting can be controlled in various ways, e.g., with a twilight relay and motion detector.
